Gather the following: Burlap sheets, twine, paint (acrylic), craft buttons, pipe cleaners, foam shaped and letters, paint brushes, glue, and any other crafting materials you would like to use.

Decide on the design for your banner, make it as long as you want with many decorated burlap sheets or keep it short with two or three.

Plan out each burlaps sheet’s design, laying down your buttons, letter, pipe cleaners etc. before gluing. .

If you are painting on the burlap or onto the crafting materials, do so now and let dry.

Glue down your crafting materials to create your design or letters to spell out your Earth Day message. Let Dry.

Lay your completed sheets out in the order you want them in then flip them over so you can add twine to the back.

Cut twine to desired length, glue the twin to the back of each sheet of burlap and let dry. Once dry, display your Earth Day banner as a reminder to care for the planet!
